MTB Fit, offered by MTB Fitness, was launched in 2015 and has helped tens of thousands of mountain bikers enhance their fitness levels through various programs and guides. Founded by Matt Mooney, an avid mountain biker and personal trainer since 2010, MTB Fitness aims to assist riders in improving their fitness, speed, and strength to maximize enjoyment of this thrilling sport.
The MTB Fit app marks a significant advancement for MTB Fitness, enabling users to easily and enjoyably commit to enhancing their biking fitness.
The app features:
<ul>
<li>New MTB-specific programs updated bi-weekly, complete with in-app instructional videos, quick-reference exercise images, rep/weight tracking capabilities, and more. Users have the flexibility to train anywhere from one to six times per week and schedule workouts using the in-app calendar.</li>
<li>Two difficulty levels to choose from - beginner and advanced - that can be switched at any time. This accessibility accommodates individuals of all fitness levels and allows for intensity adjustments leading up to events or vacations or scaling back during warmer months for maintenance.</li>
<li>Options for training at home or in the gym (or a home gym), with programs available for both settings. Work out at home using just resistance bands and body weight or opt for gym/home gym workouts with free weights.</li>
<li>Ongoing programs eliminate the need to adhere to a rigid 12-week schedule. Users can seamlessly resume training after breaks due to illness or injury with up-to-date plans, preventing guilt or the need to "catch up." This mirrors the approach taken with Matt's long-term personal training clients who focus on continuous improvement rather than short-term goals.</li>
<li>An exclusive global community provides support and accountability. MTB Fit members gain access to a private Facebook group solely for current subscribers, fostering motivation and mutual support while following the latest programs together (distinct from the public Facebook group).</li>
<li>Direct priority access to Matt is available via email or within the Facebook group for expert guidance and assistance whenever needed.</li>
<li>The app can be synchronized with various other apps and devices such as Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, phone calendars, MyFitnessPal, and Withings.</li>
<li>Users also receive access to a desktop hub and an Apple Watch app.</li>
